The Purpose of the Center is to provide the public of the community with the educational services on the subject of Russian Language, Traditions, Music, Visual Art, and Cultural Studies.

Since July 2006 the Center has been providing Russian Language and Music classes twice a week for children age 3-10 years old. The curriculum includes: Russian Language – a one hour class; Traditional Music and Dance - a 45 min class. There are several levels for children 3-4, 4-6 and 7-10 y/o. In language class children study the Russian alphabet, read and write in Russian, learn about famous Russian writers and history of Russia. In Music class children participate in activities like singing Russian songs, playing Russian instruments and performing traditional dance. In late 2006 the Organization started a program for children age 1-2y/o. The purpose of this particular program is to help toddlers’ growth and development through music and creative movement. The program provides children with their first exposure to Russian rhythms, tales and games. In 2007/2008 school year Russian Center is also offering Math classes for children 3-4, 4-5, 5-6 and 7-9y/o taught in Russian.

The Center currently employs four teachers, each of which has at least a bachelor's degree in the subject they are teaching (Language, Math, Music).
